An Artist's Life

Whenever someone asks me what I do for a living, I confidently say "I'm an inspiring Actor"... Not an aspiring Actor. I find that our path in life, our journey is an inspiring testimony, not one road ever being the same as the other. Others may flourish more than their counterparts and peers, but that doesn't by any means minimize your journey and all the steps you've taken to attain some kind of personal success. I say inspiring Actor because I believe that as Artist's, God placed us on this earth to create, to empathize or to teach empathy, to BE without any constraints which we put on ourselves when peeking at the lives of those who live and work other professions which greatly differ from ours. What we have as an Artist is our work and our imagination and sometimes that doesn't pay or create an enthusiastic response when we disclose to others our line of work. However, without Art and Storytelling in our world, without the human beings unafraid to vividly paint and bare their unique soul with others, this world is imbalanced and incomplete... One big gumbo with bland ingredients.

An Artist's life is a badge of honor.. Wear it well.
