Victory Over Self

Every moment of life isn’t about wielding your sword and dueling it out with others. Every moment isn’t about trumping or one-upping others. Life is all about finding yourself and mastering your private/inner world. When you feel the need to always stand out and be competitive, the people/person you think you’re competing with or out shining isn’t aware because they are too busy LIVING and trying to master the art of SELF. Furthermore, if in this predicament, you end up wielding your sword at air and that becomes a very frustrating set of circumstances as it pertains to the ego. Slow down, Be well and Be Blessed, SM

Fulfill Your Own Prophecy

We sometimes judge ourselves based upon the court of public opinion. We place too much emphasis on how others view us and sometimes adopt their thinking as our own self (fulfilling) prophesy. Don't do that. Be who you are and who you were uniquely created to be. Your light can never be dimmed when it is coming from a place of authenticity. That doesn't mean that if a manner in us is cold that we remain that way. What we should do is adapt and be who we were intended to be and that is a true vessel of love and understanding.
