He Who Waits.....

I'm pretty sure that If I were to ask for a show of hands, indicating how much they've been beaten over the head over countless "patience" quotes, there wouldn't be a shortage of limbs waving. I was just thinking to myself this morning, while driving on the road, if there is an expiration to being patient. For the most part, the average human being spends at least 9 to 12 hours a day making a living. So what's left of the 12 to 15 hours? That's where it gets a bit tricky. If you happen to be single or have a family for that matter, one could make an argument that the rest of the hours left in the day are for two things: Sleep and Worry. Everyone at some point worries, whether it's based on financial security, relationship issues, job status and unemployment and so forth. The worry, in most cases nowadays, stems from wanting to make a situation that's already at a standstill to eventually metamorphosize into one that exudes some form of life.

However, we've all been trained to just "be patient" because at some point our time will come so to speak. Nonetheless, what I've been trying to understand is, does patience have an expiration date? Depending on your threshold for waiting, that's something that the individual can only answer. But! What I can say is, do not allow the MIND to expire, when waiting on something you have no control over. I've always said and believed that he who waits patiently, receives in abundance. Worrying about drawn up hypothetical's and potential scenarios will only expire your whole existence from what we call life.

Peace.
