GOD Is GOOD

In my blog last Friday, I mentioned the words my Mother often shares with me through either text or in person. Those words hold so true, in that God will not give you what you want, but what you need when the time is right. It's been a full year since I finished up my studies at DePaul University and at that point I didn't know where I would end up or how I would get to where I wanted to be. I hold my self in high esteem and I often have a bright and outgoing way of viewing life. The only thing I know how to do extremely well, outside of my people skills, is to work hard. Well, it seems as though God has been rewarding me for my efforts over the past year and now I'm slowly getting to where I once envisioned myself as a young child.

It's now official that I will be a Model for University Of Maryland's Marketing Campaign starting Monday the 31st of August. It's been a long journey, a journey in which I'm forming into a book, but even though the road has been rocky, I wouldn't trade the experiences for anything. The experiences I've gone through over the years have toughened my psyche and have allowed me to crossover and be a voice of reason from within.

I share this in my blog or journal rather, mainly because I know that I've been put on this earth to inspire. Maybe not to be the wealthiest or to headline TMZ's broadcasts or to be in Gossip Magazines and other various mediums, but to INSPIRE and To MOTIVATE with my story and that is why God is good. There is no better outlet, than to share wisdom and experiences with those who travel on the same gravel road..
