Even If The Blueprint Leaks...

Should it make the album any less good? NO. However, what I am tired of is the way in which the digital world and the advancement of it is screwing up the music business. GONE is the anticipation of buying an album, so that you can play it in the confines of your home comfortably. Now, with all of the file sharing and outlets available to download music, the anticipation is somewhat deteriorated. Everyone within minutes have already rated the album and it doesn't come out until next week! Since Jay-Z is one of my favorite artists in the vast genre of music I tune in to, I think that the one positive with his Blueprint 3 album leaking is that A) It will get the critics riled up B) It should teach a lot of these new comers how to make a cohesive album and learn how to differentiate between mixtape songs and album cuts. Outside of Kobe Bryant, I think Jay-Z receives just as much hate for whatever reason, but that should mean he must be doing something right. Even with the leak, the bucket far below, which would be the industry in a sense, should receive quite a bit of jewels from someone trying to usher in a new sound in Hip-Hop.
